The Injured Federal Workers Law Group

About Our Firm

We are a small, full-service law firm that practices under the umbrella of Employment Law.  We focus on Federal Workers’ Compensation (OWCP), Defense Base Act, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (as it relates to Federal Workers’ Compensation), Veterans Disability Law, and OPM Disability Retirement cases.  Our clients are federal workers from the United States Postal Service, Veterans Affairs medical centers, Transportation Security Administration, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, the United States military, and hundreds of other federal agencies.

Although we are based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, we have the ability to represent clients in every U.S. state with regard to Federal Workers’ Compensation cases because the OWCP program is run by the Department of Labor, which is regulated by federal law.

Professional Accountability

We are professionally trained to help federal injured workers with OWCP cases and related Employment Law issues.  Your private medical records will be maintained and protected pursuant to the rules and regulations of the North Carolina State Bar Association.  We are accountable to you and our firm is governed by our ethical code and the stringent rules of professional conduct.

Federal Agency Expertise

We help clients navigate the complexities of filing a claim, managing a claim, and acquiring the compensation, medical, and schedule award benefits they are entitled to under the law through the Department of Labor’s Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP).  Two of our attorneys are former federal employees with general knowledge of how the government functions and can empathize with our clients’ frustrations.  We work diligently to ensure that all persons who are injured in connection to their federal employment are afforded the proper due process and benefits they are owed under federal law.
